Angel Leah Lopez 33, of Monte Vista, Co. sadly passed away on Tuesday July 25, 2023, in Alamosa Co. Angel was born on December 30, 1989, to Andrew Valenzuela and Dolores Sanchez. Angel was raised in Monte Vista, where she went to school and graduated through the Delta Center. Angel had a big heart and loved to spend time with her friends and family. She also liked decorating cakes, drawing, and doing crafts.
Angel leaves behind 4 Four beautiful children. Hailey Leanna Lopez, Anaya Jae Lopez, Andres santos Lopez and Santana Kai Lopez. She also leaves behind her father Richard Andrew Valenzuela and her stepmom Doralee Valenzuela, stepsister Samantha Romero and a stepbrother Joshua Morales, her loving brother Shannon Sanchez Anna, niece Alessa Wednesday Sanchez, her loving grandmother Adeline Sanchez and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Angel was preceded in death by her mother Dolores Sanchez, her grandfather Charles Sanchez, Grandmother Connie Archuleta and cousins Crystal and Cherie Valenzuela and her uncle Albert Camargo. Although physically gone from this world she will live on through all her children.
Cremation was chosen and Rosary will be held on Saturday, August 05, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monte Vista. Funeral Mass will follow immediately after the Rosary on Saturday, August 05, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at the San Luis Valley Cemetery.
