
Bobby Ray Cooley, 73 passed away February 3, 2025, at his home in Mosca Colorado. Bobby was born on September 7, 1951. He was the second child to Bill and Alice Cooley. Bobby attended Sangre De Cristo School where he met his wife, Rita Cooley. Bobby and Rita married on March 28th, 1969, in Mosca, Colorado, where they continued to live and raise their two daughters Dallas Annette (Gartner) born in 1969 and Charla Rae Cooley born in 1973. Bobby spent many years working hard at his family dairy and farming alfalfa and potatoes. He adored his grandchildren/great grandchildren and loved watching them grow up. Bobby spent his retirement years enjoying his family, friends, gardening with Rita, and traveling when possible. He was known for being a caretaker and helped many people in his lifetime. He loved having company come by the house and helping Rita quilt. He spent many hours with his grandchildren and was always there for his family when they needed him. Bobby loved farming, watching sports, and checking sprinklers with Rita. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Alice Cooley, brother Denny Cooley, and wife Rita Cooley. Bobby is survived by his sister Linda Cooley, his daughter’s Dallas Gartner(Ben Gartner) and Charla Cooley, grandchildren Cody Cooley-Parker(Emily Cooley-Parker), Cory Parker (Casey Coombs), Jay Gartner, and his great-grandchildren Allison and Cayden Cooley-Parker, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Per Bobby’s request a celebration of life will be held at a later date. He was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
