Robert (Bob) Sundeen died on August 1st, 2023, at 79 years old, from a brain tumor. He passed comfortably while staying in River Valley Rehabilitation & Health care center in Del Norte, CO. close to his home in Monte Vista, friends, and family.
Bob was born and raised in Nebraska, moving to Colorado in his early 20s where he worked and retired as a union floor layer. He was loved and supported by his first wife Patricia Ann Sundeen (d. 2/28/89) and by his second wife Sherry Lee Sundeen (d.10/28/22). He was predeceased in death by his sister Sally Oleta Sundeen (d. 5/17/08) and his brother Charles Fred Sundeen (d.1/6/21).
He is survived by Michael Charles Sundeen (son), Kendra Patricia Sundeen (granddaughter), and Murdock S. Rinaldis (great-grandson). Cremation was chosen and per Bob wishes there will be no service.
Everyone who knew Bob knew his love for motorsports of all types and exploring the wilderness with family and friends. He was a true adventurer, a loved mentor, best friend, husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
His surviving family will carry on his memory every time we twist that throttle into the next adventure.
